Kitchen and dining
The customer wanted statement pieces to complement the new kitchen and dining area. James selected black and copper geometric pendants, using the warm metal detail to bring contrast and character into the open-plan space.
Contemporary kitchen, dining and sitting room lighting selected through a Bright Lights consultation.
The customer contacted us through the consultation page while finishing a modern new build in Mayo. Our consultant James arranged a Zoom consultation to view the rooms, discuss the style and understand what the space needed.
The goal was clear: statement pieces for the kitchen and dining area, balanced with a cleaner fitting for the sitting room. Together, James and the customer reviewed our collections and chose modern contemporary lighting with warm vintage amber LED bulbs.

For the sitting room, the scheme was kept simpler. A satin chrome semi-flush pendant gave the room a neat contemporary finish without competing with the softer furnishings and natural daylight.
Satin chrome pendantThe black frames add definition, while copper interiors and amber bulbs soften the light across the kitchen and dining space.
The kitchen island used a three-light pendant to create a stronger focal point over the worktop. A matching single pendant over the dining table kept the look connected without making the room feel too busy.
The same black and copper language appears in the wall light range, giving the customer the option to carry the finish into adjoining spaces while keeping the scheme consistent.
Vintage wall lampThe selected fittings bring shape and warmth to neutral rooms without losing the calm feel of the new build.
This project was planned through a Zoom consultation, proving that a clear lighting scheme can still be developed carefully when the customer is outside Dublin. The result feels coordinated across the main living spaces.
